AV Max™ is the exclusive eco-tech fabric of STEWARDS, made from GRS-certified post-consumer recycled cotton infused with aloe vera directly into the fiber; this isn't just a surface treatment.
The result is an exceptionally soft hand-feel with natural breathability, temperature regulation, and odor resistance that can help extend time between washes.
We chose post-consumer recycled cotton because it puts existing fiber back to use without the water-waste of growing new cotton crops or relying on petroleum-based fabric.
For us, material innovation means considering the full life of a fabric: where it comes from, how it feels and performs, and how long it stays in use.

Every STEWARDS garment starts with an original pattern developed with our pattern maker in Los Angeles. We refine the proportions, fit, movement, and feel before considering the details that make each piece distinctly ours.
The graphics are original. The trims and components are considered. The placement of pocket, the weight and stretch of our ribbing, the length and depth of a sleeve, and the way a sweatshirt drapes on the body are all design decisions, not afterthoughts.
Nothing begins as a blank with our name added to it. Every piece, down to the thread, is crafted with thoughtful intention.
We make clothes from the inside out, because every part of the garment should earn its place.
Why 'Stewards'
The name is rooted in 1 Peter 4:10, which shares God's message that what we’ve been given is worth caring for.
This concept is simple and yet we've spent most of our careers seeing how little it's put into practice. This idea of stewardship shapes how we approach everything and informs how we craft products with such considered attention to detail.
